What is the relationship between accommodations & accessible instructional materials? How are they the same? How are they different? Is one a subset of the other?
If we agree that an accommodation does not change the content, accessible instructional materials would involve changing structure or presentation. So accommodations and AIM materials overlap. During this discussion, we did spend a considerable chunk of our time discussing the definitions of accommodations as compared with modifications and how differentiated instruction might fit.
Agree with the general conversations about needing a shared definition of language.
